Explore Dance Company offers Dance Explorers, a during school or after school program for students ages kindergarten through fifth grade. These creative movement classes improve self-awareness, endurance, and muscular strength. Each session focuses on a different educational theme and student will learn to create and connect using elements of movement: space, time, force, body, and form. Students will also develop important teamwork, problem-solving, listening, and communication skills. We also have a TON of fun!

TESTIMONIALS

My daughter absolutely loved Dance Club! She had so much fun spending extra time with her friends after school and she loved her teacher, Miss. Hannah. She had fun exploring all the different ways you can move your body and she also loved the games they played—especially the shapes game. We are both excited for her to be able to participate in dance club again this year!

The Dance Club offered at Pioneer is a great introduction to dance for the little kids who might not have had previous experience to dance, like my daughter. Miss Hannah was so patient with the little kids. She created a fun and creative environment for the kids to express themselves, while learning to work with peers too. I highly recommend programs like this!

My kids have never taken a dance class of any kind, so it was a neat opportunity for them to get a taste of a variety of dance styles with Miss Hannah and Explore Dance Company. They both loved it, and came home buzzing with all the fun dances they learned.  I was impressed by the quality of the music selection and the creativity that they encouraged during class. Miss Hannah was always so upbeat and encouraging, which gave all the kids courage to learn and to try new things. I hope to see more of these opportunities offered in the future!
